GrapesEasy Grape Juice Jelly 5 cups grape juice Mix the sugar with the grape juice in a large pot. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil and add the pectin. Once the mixture has reached its jelled point, pour into pint jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Adjust lids and process in a boiling water canner 10 minutes at 0-1,000 feet altitude; 15 minutes at 1,001-6,000 feet; 20 minutes above 6,000 feet. Concord Grape Jelly 3 1/2 pounds Concord grapes Remove stems from grapes and place them in a large pot. Crush grapes and add water. Cover, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Press mixture though a cheesecloth. You should have about 4 cups. Let sit over night. Strain again through a cheesecloth. Put mixture in a pot and add sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring. Add pectin and boil for 1 minute. Quickly pour mixture in pint jars leaving 1/4 inch headroom. Adjust lids and process in a boiling water canner 10 minutes at 0-1,000 feet altitude; 15 minutes at 1,001-6,000 feet; 20 minutes above 6,000 feet.
