Add ice, orange and lemon slices. Serves 32. ------------------------ 9303 -- DRUNKEN DOGS PARTY SNACKS 1 lb. hot dogs, cut into bite size Mix until brown sugar is dissolved. Marinate dogs in sauce overnight. Bake in 325 degree oven until bubbly. ------------------------ 23708 -- SERVES 10 1 qt. dairy eggnog mix Prechill ingredients. Blend in punch bowl by beating; dust with nutmeg. ------------------------ 38183 -- CRUNCHY COMFORT PECANS 2 c. pecan halves Combine Southern Comfort, orange juice, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread pecans in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with salt. Pour liquid mixture over pecans, stirring until all are moistened. Marinate 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the brown sugar. Stir until all are coated and bake at 275 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Stirring every 10 minutes, add remaining brown sugar. Bake another 10-15 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Test for doneness by cooling and tasting a few nuts. They should be crunchy, not chewy. Cool on wax paper separating with a fork as they cool. NOTE: Toward the end of cooking, watch them carefully, they will scorch if over cooked. ------------------------ 39300 -- GRANNY'S KNOCKOUT PUNCH 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, In a large punch bowl, mix orange juice, lemonade, and 7-Up until concentrate is dissolved. Stir in Southern Comfort and lemon juice until well blended. Add crushed ice. ------------------------ 45045 -- MRS. TANNERS BAKED BEAN RECIPE 2 (12 oz.) cans pork and beans, drained Saute onions in margarine. Remove from heat. Add all remaining ingredients except the brown sugar and pineapple. Spoon into 2 quart casserole bake covered at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pineapple and bake uncovered 40 minutes longer. Serves 8 to 10. ------------------------ 47458 -- PUNCHED-UP HOT CIDER 6 c. (48 oz.) apple cider or juice In Dutch oven, heat apple cider with grape juice, undrained crab apples and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Remove broken cinnamon and discard. Remove crab apples; reserve for the garnish. Stir in whiskey. Stir in mugs garnished with apples atop. Makes 23 (1/2 cup) servings. ------------------------ 48013 -- RUM NUT CAKE 1 c. finely chopped pecans --GLAZE:-- 1 stick margarine Grease with Crisco and flour lightly a bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly over bottom of pan. Place cake mix and pudding in a large bowl and toss lightly, then add next 4 ingredients. Beat with electric or hand beater for 2 minutes. Pour carefully into pan not disturbing nuts. Bake in 325 degree preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes until lightly firm to touch. Remove from oven and place on rack, carefully loosen cake form pan and center, pour hot glaze over cake at once, and let stand 30 minutes, invert onto plate. GLAZE: Boil in saucepan for 3 minutes, stirring constantly and pour at once over hot cake. Distribute evenly while pouring. ------------------------ 50373 -- WILD ANNIVERSARY PUNCH 1 qt.
